Cyber Essentials (CE) is a government-backed cyber security certification scheme that sets out a baseline of cyber security suitable for all organisations. The scheme’s five security controls can prevent “around 80% of cyber-attacks”. Developed as part of the UK’s National Cyber Security Programme and in close consultation with industry to provide businesses with clarity on good cyber-security practice
As April 2016, EasylifeIT™ is now a Cyber essentials certified company; which will assure you that we as a supplier practice the IT security that we preach. Additionally, as an Accredited Cyber Essentials (ACE) Practitioner and Service Partner, we can assist organisations in meeting the standard. Increasingly, especially if you deal with national or local government departments you will be expected to have this certification to demonstrate that your own systems meet an acceptable security baseline and can protect not only your own systems, but also those of your customers.
